?How to check the axle loads of your car
Be sure to check the maximum permissible loads on both axles of your car. This is crucial information! Only if these values are not exceeded, you have a guarantee that the lowering of the car and the operation of the suspension will be consistent with the catalog. You will find this data only on the car's rating plate. The commonly used coding is 1 - XXX kg / 2 - XXX kg, where respectively "1 -" is the maximum permissible front axle load and "2 -" is the maximum permissible rear axle load. Write down these values and compare them with the catalog. If any of them exceed the value from the catalog, it means that the product is not intended for your car.

24During the installation of suspension set the clearance between tire/rim and suspension strut shall be checked. The minimum allowed gap is 5mm (0,2 inch). Otherwise use certificated wheel spacers.

50The assembly is also possible on vehicles equipped with EDC. In this case, it may be necessary to use additional BMW OE parts. Parts are not included in the kit.
64After the purchase, the original front axle struts should be sent to the headquarters of MTS Technik. Prior to shipment, all elements such as hubs, bearings, covers, shock absorber inserts, bolts and nuts should be dismantled. If the axle struts are delivered without prior disassembly of the above-mentioned parts or if MTS Technik finds any damage, such as broken column bolts, the axle struts will be returned or an additional fee will be charged.
68After welding the customer-supplied axle struts and MTS Technik coilover suspension, the product is personalized according to the customer's needs. Thus, the right to withdraw from the conclusion of a distance sales contract is excluded (no possibility of returning the goods).
69The axle struts delivered to us will be cleaned of paint, welded and then secured with zinc. Please provide the original axle struts with the original paint, even if it is in poor condition. Please do not paint the axle struts before shipping!
