Made of heat-resistant carbon steel, which can withstand rapid temperature fluctuations.
Each manifold is thermally stress-relieved – this means that all internal stresses created during the welding process have been eliminated, ensuring that the structure behaves as a homogeneous, stress-free element.
T3 open-type flange and external wastegate outlet (also available without WG outlet).
The version without WG outlet allows you to keep the A/C compressor. Alternatively, you can connect the WG outlet pipe in another place to prevent interference between the manifold and the A/C compressor – in the standard version, the WG pipe is directed towards the A/C compressor. Main pipe diameter: 60.3 mm (wall thickness: 2.8 mm).
Lightweight design - approx. 5.5 kg.
Compatible with all E30, E34, E36, E38, E39 and E46 models equipped with M50, M52 and M54 engines.
Suitable turbochargers: GT29, GT30, GT35, HX35, HX40 and Borg Warner S200.
If you want to thermally insulate the manifold, use a heat shield instead of wrapping it with thermal tape. Metal parts must be able to expand and release heat to the environment - otherwise excessive thermal stress can cause deformations or cracks.
